Happy January 6th: Why the Real Work Begins Now

Happy January 6th: Why the Real Work Begins Now

The holidays are behind us. The rush of December has faded, and the so-called "New Year, New Me" frenzy that accompanies January 1st has already started to wane for most. We’ve crossed the first weekend of the year, and today—January 6th—marks a pivotal moment: the first Monday when the world is back to its regular rhythms. For many, it’s the time when resolutions fizzle and dreams start to lose their sparkle.

But not for you. Not this year.

Why This Moment Matters

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know we approach things differently here. We don’t buy into the pressure of a single day dictating the entire trajectory of our year. Instead, we honor the rhythm of the Wheel of the Year, understanding that change and growth are not about flipping a switch but about moving with intention through the seasons.

We’re still in the season of Yule, which began with the Winter Solstice and continues until the Lunar New Year. Yule is a time for reflection, clarity, and deliberate action—a sacred season where we root into the lessons of the past and begin to plant the seeds for the future. If you haven’t fully defined your intentions or feel like you’re already losing momentum, take heart. It’s not too late to start or to deepen the work.

Continuing the Work: From Reflection to Action

Here’s what sets you apart: you know that transformation isn’t an overnight process. You’ve been doing the work. Maybe you started during the Season of the Witch, reflecting on what went well last year. Maybe you’ve been sitting with your intentions throughout Yule, giving them the space to grow clearer. Or maybe you’re just beginning now—and that’s perfectly okay, too.

What matters is that you continue. This isn’t about setting vague resolutions and hoping for the best. It’s about:

  • Asking yourself deep questions: Why do you want what you want? What’s driving your intentions?

  • Anticipating challenges: Where do you know you tend to struggle with change or sabotage yourself?

  • Creating supportive systems: How can you design your life to make success inevitable?

Yule is the perfect time for this work because it allows us to align with the energies of the season. It’s a time of rest, reflection, and preparation, helping us build a strong foundation for the year ahead.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

This work is powerful—but it’s even more transformative when done in community. That’s why I’ve created a free group where we go beyond surface-level goals and dive deep into manifesting lives aligned with our true desires.

Right now, we’re continuing the work from the 12 Days of Manifesting Event, where we explored setting intentions. Now, we’re building on that momentum, leaning further into clarity, and taking aligned action to create a magickal year ahead.

In this space, you’ll find not just inspiration but practical tools, systems, and support to:

  • Get crystal clear on your goals.

  • Stay motivated and accountable.

  • Align your actions with your unique definition of success.

This is where we take the dreams lingering in our hearts and turn them into reality—on our terms.

The Invitation

If you’re ready to continue this journey, I invite you to join my free community.  Together, we’ll navigate the energies not only the full expansive season of Yule, but Seasonal Living well beyond throughout the year including but not limited to the full range of the Wheel of the Year.  We'll build a foundation that supports your growth, your magick, and your vision for the year ahead.

Let this January 6th be your turning point—not a day of losing sight of your dreams but a day of doubling down on them. Let it mark the moment you step ahead of the crowd, fully owning your power and potential.

You are magickal. You are capable. And this is your year.

With love & moonlight,
Angela Kaye
